  1. Aloha,

I am a student of GM Erika Iversen-Ruiz at Hawaiian Kajukenbo Association. I am interested in the Hawaii Pacific Regionals coming up in Oʻahu this summer. One of the events in particular, the MMA Combatives, I would like to enter. But can someone explain what this entails? The rules and such. Are there going to be rounds, or just one continuous match? Submissions and KOs? Mahalo nui loa

    Me ke aloha,
    Jacob Titcomb.

  2. Aloha!

I am a Doce Pares (Eskrima) student of Hawaii Defense Academy. I am interested in possibly competing in the Hawaii Pacific Regionals this upcoming Summer.

In particular, I would like to enter the Weapons Kata division. I checked the website for the rules under the specific division and I just have a couple inquires: are teams allowed, or are forms strictly individual? And, would Caranza/Sayaws (Eskrima forms) be allowed to enter the Weapons Kata division? Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    Angelica Somera
